Foreningen En Kjærlighet - Ett Hjerte - Ett Mål er en interesseorganisasjon som arbeider for å forene foreldre, barn og barnevernets interesser. Foreningen har følgende målsetninger:
The association One Love - One Heart - One Goal will:
Promote the rights of parents and children:
We work to strengthen parents’ and children’s rights in encounters with child welfare services, BUPP, interview processes, the County Board and the State Administrator.
Be a consultation body:
We act as a consultative body to uncover weaknesses and deficiencies in the system, and contribute to improving rules and protocols in child welfare.
Establish a register:
We are working to establish a register for the registration of deviations from caseworkers and experts, called the “Deviation Register”.
Remove bindings:
We seek to remove fixed ties between child welfare services and experts, psychologists and other actors to ensure independence and objectivity.
Provide guidance:
We offer counseling to parents and children to better equip them to deal with these agencies.
Inform parents and children:
We inform parents and children about processes, rules, rights and expectations through lectures and individual meetings.
Help to promote your own voice:
Improve collaboration:
We help improve the collaboration between child welfare services, parents and children, focusing on understanding cultural differences, body language, language barriers, and more.
Prevent discrimination:
We work to highlight and prevent unfair discrimination and stigmatization of parents who risk discrimination due to various factors such as ethnicity, origin, skin color, upbringing, culture, language, etc.
Recruit emergency shelters:
We recruit and support new emergency shelters that better meet the needs of vulnerable children, including safeguarding their identity, religion, language and cultural heritage.
Recruit skilled professionals:
We seek to recruit qualified lawyers and interpreters who share our passion for working in the best interests of parents and children in similar situations.
