In my previous work as a lawyer and deputy judge, I have gained insight into how misunderstandings can easily arise in contact between private individuals and public officials.
The mechanisms that work in communication are complicated, and a lot goes into preventing misunderstandings. For example, when parents, children and caseworkers have different cultural and religious backgrounds, as well as different mother tongues, the risk of misunderstandings increases significantly. I have experienced that something as simple as gesturing (explaining with your hands) has been perceived as aggressive, because the caseworker did not have the same experience and thus could not understand that this was normal. This is an example of a lack of diversity expertise.
In my work through the association, I will use my knowledge and experience to prevent misunderstandings from arising on both sides in child protection cases, clarify misunderstandings that have arisen, and then help to clear them up. I strongly believe that this will benefit all parties and save parents and children a lot of unnecessary suffering.
From vision to reality:
After getting to know Zartasht better, I recognized much of his humanity in myself. We share a burning passion to fight for those who suffer injustice, unfairness and abuse of power. In addition, I saw that we could complement each other in the work of supporting parents and children who had ended up in a desperate situation, where they did not understand the “game” they were part of. We saw an unmet need for an association that will work purposefully to bring together all parties in such matters.
The 14th. February 2023, we therefore founded the association “One Love – One Heart – One Goal”.

Overall, our goal is to be Norway's foremost association for assisting parents and children and to be the association that is equipped to unite the interests of the state and parents/children.
At the beginning of our case, I felt helpless and constantly overrun by the child welfare system at all levels.
