my path to the association
Jeg startet med barnevernssaker i 2007
I became acquainted with Zartasht I. Khawaja in connection with my assistance in a child protection case during the summer and fall of 2022. When I took over the case, it had already developed in the wrong direction, characterized by what can be described as “tunnel vision” on the part of child welfare, where they had predetermined the outcome.
We managed to convince the child welfare service to consider the case from several perspectives. Over time, Khawaja established a trusting relationship with the child welfare authorities, and the case was eventually given the best possible solution, despite several misjudgments made along the way.
Misjudgments happen wherever people make decisions.
Through this case, Khawaja grew increasingly committed to preventing other parents and children from experiencing what he did; his personal experiences are also relevant to anyone involved with child welfare services. At the same time, I have seen his belief in challenging errors and weaknesses in the system with professional questions and objections.
I started working with child welfare cases in 2007, and I look forward to supporting the association One Love – One Heart – One Goal in its work to improve child welfare for those who really matter.
I also hope to be able to participate in professional discussions on how the association can make constructive and objective contributions to further improve child welfare services.
With best regards,

Overall, our goal is to be Norway's foremost association for assisting parents and children and to be the association that is equipped to unite the interests of the state and parents/children.

At the beginning of our case, I felt helpless and constantly overrun by the child welfare system at all levels.
