The Association of One Love - One Heart - One Goa is an interest organization that works to unite the interests of parents, children, and child welfare services
The Association of One Love - One Heart - One Goal shall:
Promote parents' and children's rights
Work to promote parents’ and children’s rights in meeting with child protection, BUPP,
conversation processes, the County Board and the State Administrator.
Be a hearing body
Be a hearing body to uncover weaknesses and shortcomings, as well as contribute to improving rules and protocols in child protection.
Establish a registry
Work to establish a register for recording deviations from case handlers and experts (the “Deviance Register”).
Remove bindings
Remove fixed ties between child protection and experts, psychologists and other actors.
Provide guidance
Provide guidance to parents and children to be better equipped to deal with the above-mentioned agencies.
Inform parents and children
Inform parents and children about processes, rules, rights and expectations that are set, both through lectures and in specific meetings.
Help promote
Contribute to promoting parents’ and children’s own voice based on their own relevant experiences from emergency shelters, institutions etc. in complaints and supervision processes under the auspices of the State Administrator.
Improve cooperation
Contribute to improving cooperation between child protection services, parents and children, including understanding of cultural differences, body language, language barriers etc.
Prevent discrimination
Contribute to highlighting and preventing unfair discrimination and stigmatization of parents who risk discrimination because they do not fit into an A4 photo, including because of ethnicity, origin, skin colour, upbringing, culture, language etc.
Recruit emergency shelters
Work to recruit new emergency homes that better look after the needs of vulnerable children and secure the children’s identity, religion, language and cultural heritage.
Recruit skilled people
Recruit selected lawyers and interpreters who are passionate about working for parents and children.
